The Southwestern Illinois Laborers’ District Council Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to help fill the financial need of our children in pursuing educational opportunities at accredited colleges, universities, and technical institutions.
- The scholarships are available to college students whose parents, legal guardians or who themselves are a member in good standing of the Southwestern Illinois Laborers’ District Council.
- Applicants must be enrolled full time in an accredited college, university, or technical institution and provide proof of enrollment.
- High school graduating applicants must provide transcripts for the past 4 years. College students must maintain at least a 2.6 cumulative grade point average for the school and provide transcripts for the previous year.
Awards are based on high school/college transcripts, proof of admission, financial need, and a written essay.
